City bans popular music concerts at the Hatch Shell.

The action is taken after fans at recent concerts left the area littered with debris. The ban is subsequently lifted, but then imposed again after a May 31, 1977 concert, when 150,000 fans at a WRKO-sponsored concert once again leave the area littered with debris.
